I am a New England based fine artist with a BFA from Montserrat College of Art with a concentration in painting and a minor in curatorial studies. Beginning at a young age, I began to discover my passion when I pursued quickly as a child through a private art class full of adults. Early on, I held roles such as president of the National Art Honor Society at my high school, which influenced my continued education into art school and my study abroad programs. Currently, I am working as an Art Consultant/Social Media Marketing Specialist at an art gallery in Massachusetts.
There is nothing that I love to do more than enhance my creative mindset. I often make commercial work such as pet portraits, landscapes, and any specific home decor fine art requests for my clients, but my primary passion is to paint nature. The intricate spaces in the landscape and the beauty that natural sunlight gives to them is what I am truly passionate about. As an outdoor enthusiast, I snap photographs of fascinating patterns, colors and contrasts that sunlight creates in land, trees and the sky. I recreate these fascinations by painting on canvas, because the oil and acrylic paints’ saturated colors and contrasts allow these concealed spaces in nature to be seen and appreciated in a new way. Representing these findings with paint has helped to strengthen my passion for both nature and representational imagery.
